This card saved me $50 today so I wanted others to know so I posted it on a couple medical forums that I moderate. According to your website there are pharmacies in many cities but the cities are not listed when a person wants to print a card nor is the county and in some cases not even the state even though the pharmacy is listed so the person can’t print a card. I am dealing with people all over the US so is there one thing you can tell me to tell them so that they can get a card even though they are not listed. I have had my card a long time but this is the first time I had a drug not covered by my insurance so it really helped.

I very happy in finding this website in receiving discount on prescriptions. It also, mentioned veterianarian discounts. Is there any veterinarian’s office that participate in network for my area? I’m in Phoenix, AZ. It was not highlighted in section for locating veterianarian’s office. Any discount does help.

Carol: If I may ask what city you live in, we’re seeking some people for advertising we’re going to be doing with the card — actually Public Service Announcements. If you live in an area that we’re going to do filming — we’d like you to be involved. Marty@coast2coastrx.com

Are there any participating vets or pharmacies in the Lombard
Illinois 60148 area?
admin on Thu, 26th Apr 2012 5:46 pm
All chain pharmacies participate. You have two CVS, two Walgreens, a Target, Kmart and an Osco — if not more — in Lombard.
We will be launching the vet network discount program in the next few weeks. We do have 3 vets in your area including one vet office in Lombard. The Lombard Animal Clinic at 603 South Main Street in Lombard is the one in Lombard. You will need to call our office at 1-800-931-8872 in about two to three weeks to gain access to that vet. The other two are in Glendale Heights and Hinsdale.

My partner and I have been in the discount prescription card industry for more than two years.
We have lined up some rather nice businesses, governments and not-for-profits to market our cards.
How would we go about becoming affiliated with your company?
Thank you,
Jeff Harwood

How does the Coast2Coast card work with the Medicare Part D doughnut hole?
admin on Tue, 1st May 2012 10:33 pm
Margie:
Do you have supplemental coverage for Medicare Part D? If not, you need to check with your Medicare Part D provider to see what you’ll need to do while in the doughnut hole to send in your receipts from your out of pocket expenses using our card during that period. That will be the best way to determine how you can make use of our card during the doughnut hole period. Marty@coast2coastrx.com

Tricia: You cannot combine the two for a drug. However, you should always see if your insurance or our card provides the best pricing for you on a particular drug. Most of the time the insurance should win out — but if you have a high co-pay, a high deductible insurance plan or a drug not covered by your insurance plan — then our card will be of great benefit.

What type of discount do you receive off of brand name drugs.
Drug of interest is Cymbalta

Marty: Was reading some of the blogs. If you should need anyone in San Joaquin County CA to work for you, I would be interested. I’m retired, working only two half days a week.

I could not get your website to show the veterinary doctors in the Hayward, Alameda Co. area. Can you give me a list or fix your webpage? If my vet is not on the list, how can they participate? And what benefit is it to them?
admin on Sat, 5th May 2012 10:16 am
Trudie:
We’ll keep it in mind if we need someone in San Joaquin County to help us out.
Thank you,
Marty

Deanna:
It depends on each pharmacy; however the general rule for brand name drugs is discounts up to 20%. Generics are up to 75% — so a big difference. It is best to bring a card into one or more pharmacies in your area to get the pricing.

Go to http://www.coast2coastrx.com/index.php/pharmacy-locator/ and put in Evanston in the City Name and IL in the State Name and the pharmacies in your area will appear. All chain pharmacies and most independents participate in our program.

Haymont Veterinary Clinic, Caring Pet Clinic (both in Hayward) and All About Pets Animal Care of Union City are participants in our network. The reason you couldn’t link to anything is that we’re finalizing the procedures to have our customer service representatives to make the referrals to our vendor’s participating veterinary offices. If your vet wants to join the network, please email me their contact information and our network vendor will contact them. They would have to provide a 25% discount off of all veterinary services. The advantage is that the program could generate additional customers for them.
Thank you,

Last week, I was able to log into this site, type in the name of a prescription drug, and the program would give me the cost of the drug at the various participating pharmacies in my local area. Today, I cannot find that function anywhere on the site. I have cleared my history from the prior week and the sitemap doesn’t help. Can you help me find where I can access this function? Thanks!

I went to CVS to use the Discount Perscription Card for my father Dextrol-La. Well it was a waste of time because nothing was discounted. I went to the website to find a listing of what 60,000 durgs was covered. Your website couldn’t provide me with this information. I’m a tax payer in Kings County, but the bullets on the card is not correct and is misleading. One bullet says ” Covers drugs not covered in health plans. This statement clearly details there are no restrictions. I would appreciate someone emailing me back.
admin on Wed, 16th May 2012 12:34 am
Frank:
Please give me your phone number so that I can call you to get the exact details. You are to receive a discount unless the drug is what is deemed a Usual & Customary drug by CVS in their contract with us. The pharmacies determine what drugs are in that category. These are 1 out 4 drugs. If that’s the case then you’re to receive the lower of our price or the retail price pursuant to our contract.
Thanks,
Marty

Tammy:
We have decided that it is too difficult to maintain the pricing tool in an effective manner since there are 60,000 drugs in our formulary. We want cardholders to price their drugs at one or more pharmacies to get the the real pricing.
