An Introduction to the Coast2Coast Rx Card

It’s no secret that health care costs are a hot-button topic across the country.  But what gets lost in the political and financial debate is that the drastic increase in healthcare expenses can take a toll on the quality of life for many individuals and families.  And that is where the Coast2Coast Rx Card comes in — saving consumers millions of dollars in prescription costs while helping to improve health outcomes.

You’ve probably encountered some kind of prescription discount offer before, and it’s hard to know what is actually going to benefit users… many discount programs are filled with fine print, complicated enrollment forms, and even just sound gimmicky. And we know you don’t have time to research the fine print in every plan; so trust the people you’ve already elected: the County Board of Supervisors has already vetted and approved the Coast2Coast Rx Card in 16 counties throughout California, and the California State Association of Counties has given it their stamp of approval, as well.

Consumers in each of the participating counties can save up to 75% on the cost of more than 60,000 brand name drugs, while filling their prescriptions at one of 59,000+ participating pharmacies nationwide.  There are even discounts available on dental, vision, hearing and lab services as well as diabetes supplies.  And our two favorite aspects about the card – it’s free and anyone can use it (there are no restrictions on age, income level or health conditions and no expiration date); plus, it’s the only prescription discount plan that gives back even more to the community.  In fact, in California alone, Coast2Coast contributes $1.25 to the participating county for each prescription filled using the card — (and this in no way impacts or increases the prescription costs for cardholders; the opposite is true as cardholders save up to 75% on the cost of each prescription) — providing much-needed funds for public programs.

Using the Coast2Coast Rx Card is truly a win-win situation and one of the easiest ways for consumers to save money on healthcare essentials while giving back to their community.  Because in the end, the health care debate is not about politics or profits… it’s about getting individuals and families the best care possible so that they can be healthy, happy and productive from coast to coast.
